Aftermath is a collaborative work by students in "MEJO 584: Documentary Multimedia Storytelling" that explores the environmental landscape and ongoing health ramifications in Puerto Rico after the devastation caused by Hurricane Maria.

Astronaut Scholarship Foundation | Public Service Program

The Astronaut Scholarship Foundation, founded by the original Mercury astronauts Shepard, Glenn, Slayton, Schirra, Cooper and Carpenter, provides some of the largest individual merit awards in the US for the student of engineering, science and astronautics. This public service program was produced by Bruce Curran's "MEJO 333: Video Communications for Public Relations and Marketing."

Love coffee and tea? Bean & Leaf Magazine gives readers a unique look into the cafe culture. This issue features profiles on coffee shops in the southern U.S., a quiz to find out which tea is right for you, a tutorial on brewing your own sun tea and feature stories on fair trade coffee and sustainable tea. Created by students in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at UNC-Chapel Hill, this magazine showcases digital media technology through iPad design.

Behind the Blog | Undergraduate Honors Thesis

Our means of online communication have shifted over the decades—from email to instant messaging to social media networks, particularly weblogs (commonly known as blogs). Using the concepts of co-orientation and grounded theory, Lu conducted a blog analysis of three different blogs and examined the relationships between bloggers and their readers, and how influential the blogs were in changing the readers’ perceptions of the bloggers’ lifestyles.
